Tiny Baby Sock
So This is the Tiny Baby Sock I've written of down below...I can't remember where I took the pattern from all I know is that I found it googling around and that the pattern belongs to Amy, (knittinghelp.com Amy), except the part about using 2 colours...It was fun to knit and it just looks so cute! Now I need to knit the other one..like always...
I find that knitting socks is great and fun and all that but knitting the second one always gets me....
Well thats all for today,
Happy Knitting and God Bless

3 AM Cable Hat With a Twist
So before I went to NY, like a week before, I thought to myself why don't I knit another hat? a prettier hat, so I looked for a pattern on the internet and found this one: 3AM Blue Cable Hat and thought to myself Cables? it shouldn't be that hard...so I started to knit my hat and finshed it within a couple of days but realized that following the pattern plus adding another cable pattern repeat the hat was still too short, I looked ridiculous and my head was starting to ache becuse i was forcing the hat down on me...
So I set out to find a way to fix it and thought, I can pickup the cast on stitches and go from there. But It was time to go to the hotel, and so I took my knitting with me, within the next couple of days (because I was definitely going to enjoy my stay there and not only knitting) I finished knitting the extra rows but then when it was time to cast off the real dilemma began...How on earth am I going to cast off for this hat without the end result be a super-tight-impossible-to-fit-in hat? Thank God for my trusty cellphone with internet access...I went to google and typed in the words: "Stretchy Bind off" and stumbled across this webblog: Weebleknits: Stretchy Bind Offs and used the last method shown which seemed to be the easiest one, but I must say that I had tried binding off the conventional way (the hat wouldn't even fit), I tried some other way, it wasn't stretchy enough...so I ended up binding off on my way back to the city, the day I was supposed to leave to NY...I finished BO when the bus arrived back to santo domingo. And Voila! 3AM Cable Hat with a Twist...

So I've been MIA, since December...
First for christmas day weekend I went to a Hotel with my family, left a day before the weekend was over and went to NYC with a cousin and her family, since the 25th until January 6th...Had an awesome vacation. When I got back home I started my 10th semester of medschool, then went to constanza for a weekend and then came back, and well I've been basically going to the hospitals, going to class and coming back home to get to some sleep. So that is basically my life since 2007 started.

I'm Back!
So after I got angry at my lace scaf...I threw it on the couch, spent weeks looking at it and finally frogged it and started over!! it had so many mistakes! I just couldn't bear looking at the thing. But after I calmed down, knitted the cutest little baby sock, its sooo tiny and cute! I shall post a picture of it soon..I decided that I needed to start over, even If I wouldn't finish it by the end of november. And So I've made progress! and have made little to no mistakes and am knitting faster with it!! :P darn yarn overs! I'll post a picture of it soon as well. I'm sooo inlove with it that two things happened: 1. someone offered to buy it from me, 2. I started yet another one with this very yummy cotton yarn I have..
Well that is all for now!
Until next time!
Happy Knitting and God Bless!!

LaceAnger!!
These are 3 Things I've learned knitting Lace:
- Always Count your stitches after each row
- NEVER knit lace while you are doing something else, while someone is talking to you, while you are waiting to be picked up after class.
- Have Patience!!
I'm loving the scarf and all, but I just really feel like frogging it and start all over again!! *Tears*
I'm not giving up on this!! I will finish this Scarf before the motnh ends if its the last thing I do!!!
*sigh*
Thats all for now, Hope ya'll are doing better than I am.
Happy Knitting!
And God Bless!

Blogger's Question: When you spilled the milk, did it look like the moon?
The Mo0n Shaped puddle of Milk
As I took out the carton of the delicious 1% Milk, I could already smell its milky cowish aroma. Oh! How it brought wonderful childhood memories of mother making breakfast and nanny preparing the chocolate milk for us! Ah the olden days, how I miss them so!
So I opened the cupboard, grabbed one of mother's porcelain tea cups, yes the ones with the fine Japanese designs delicately hand painted on, and served myself some milk.
Oh how I wish my heart had not desired its taste, for when I placed the carton on the counter, my clumsy hands knocked it over.
Oh woe is me! The milk! Oh that luscious soft savory milk splashed on the tiled floor!
My world came crumbling down as I witnessed in horror the silky white liquid spilling itself from the carton...and that's when I saw it. The moon shaped puddle the 1% Milk formed on mother's tiled kitchen floor.
